Emu Park Golf Club is gearing up for another very successful year. In April there will be the Mens’ and Ladies’ Open Championships, in June a 3 day Pro Am event plus the Ladies’ and Mens’ Closed and September sees a Holden Scramble and 3 days for the Ladies’ District Championships.
Since opening the final 2 holes to make EPGC an 18 hole course we have experienced an influx of players from around the CQ region who have enjoyed our challenging and well maintained course which also offer some magnificent views of the Capricorn Coast hinterland.
The many visitors have without exception commented most favourably on the state of our facility even though some of the newer holes are still work in progress. The club is ever moving forward.
The Club is always looking for new members and at our recent Annual General Meeting (November) we had to increase our single membership to $600 which compares favourably with other clubs in the CQ area. This price still makes it attractive to be a member with the increase necessary to cover the always increasing cost of providing a good quality 18 hole golf course. Green fees and competition fees are still attractive and competitive with other clubs.
We pride ourselves on being a “friendly” club, so join with us as either a member or a regular social player and make your visit to the Emu Park Golf Club an enjoyable one.
Yours in golf
